Our Process

You walk into your kitchen one morning for your usual cup of coffee, as you’ve done for so many years. You open the drawer for a spoon and the drawer front comes off in your hand... again. Or perhaps your oven quit working in the middle of an important family dinner last week. In hunting for a replacement you find that new stoves won’t fit properly in your allotted space. You’d love to rip it all out and start from scratch but what a nightmare that could be! We at David Hecht Kitchens know your frustration.

The David Hecht Kitchen name has been synonymous with satisfied customers for 52 years for a very good reason. We provide quality products and expert installations at a price that will fit your budget, regardless of what it is. When you visit our new showroom for the first time, you'll see that we have kitchens for just about every taste. We have more than a dozen displays showing several different cabinet lines and counter top materials in varying price ranges.

Our process begins with a designer visiting your current kitchen to take measurements and see what kind of personal style you desire in your home. The designer has a fresh perspective of your existing space and can outline various possibilities for your new kitchen. If you’re building a new home, the designer will study your architectural plans and discuss your cooking and entertaining habits and budget. The designer will then provide, for your inspection, a new kitchen layout complete with computer rendered pictures so you will actually be able to visualize your new room.

From this free initial design, you and the designer will be able make any changes you’d prefer until your room becomes your “dream kitchen” aesthetically, functionally and financially. This may take a few visits to the showroom to fine tune your design. Once the design is perfect in your eyes, your dream is put into motion.

Before you know it, it’s Rip Out Day. Our installers will do their very best to control any debris and dust. But when you see the new cabinets as they are set into place, you’ll realize the interruption to your routine will be well worth it. It won’t take long to actually forget what your old kitchen looked like and realize coming to David Hecht Kitchens was your best decision.
